Salvation and All Spiritual Blessings in Christ
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ… In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:3,7).
These inspired scriptures plainly and clearly show that salvation is in Christ Jesus only, and not in any man. No man has shed his blood like Christ did, and no man on earth can forgive sins! Note the authority of and how God the Father and Christ are exalted.
“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,” (Ephesians 1:1-3).
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (Galatians 3:26-27).
Christ purchased the church, his church only, “with His blood.” Salvation is in Christ only “…for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12).
Dear Reader, the above Scriptures are inspired, infallible, and true. They must be believed, accepted, and obeyed to be saved eternally.
Hear (Romans 10:17)
Must have faith (Hebrews 11:6)
Believe in and confess faith in Christ (John 8:24; Romans 10:9-10)
Repent (Luke 13:3-5)
Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38).
Who is saved? Only those that obey God! (Matthew 7:21; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).
“Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,” (1 Thessalonians 1:1-3).
“For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything. For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaving, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” (1 Thessalonians 1:8-10).
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:4-6).
These profound, inspired, and infallible scriptures contain so many great truths that are absolutely necessary and mandatory and essential to one’s salvation. Notice – no “church leader” or preacher living today or dead is mentioned in the Bible whatsoever. No man, living today nor dead, can forgive sins or save souls! Who is saved? ONLY those who obey God the Father in Heaven. (Matthew 7:21).
